Oregon’s Dillon Gabriel, Colorado’s Travis Hunter, Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty, and Miami’s Cam Ward round out the finalists for the 2023 Heisman Trophy – awarded annually to the country’s most outstanding college football player since 1935. Announcement of the winner will be this Saturday in New York.

  • Dillon Gabriel (Oregon, QB): Led Oregon to an undefeated season and the Big Ten title. With a 73.2% completion rate and 35 total touchdowns, Gabriel holds the NCAA record for career QB starts (62).
  • Travis Hunter (Colorado, WR/DB): A rare two-way player excelling on both sides. Hunter leads the Big 12 in receptions (92) and receiving touchdowns (14), while also earning Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year honors.
  • Ashton Jeanty (Boise State, RB): A dominant runner with 2,497 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns this season, Jeanty leads the nation in rushing yards per game (192.1).
  • Cam Ward (Miami, QB): Tops in the nation with 36 passing touchdowns and 4,123 passing yards. Ward also leads Miami’s record-breaking offense, averaging 44.2 points per game.
